Thank you for your interest in volunteering with LitFest!

We are looking for various volunteer positions for our upcoming festival taking place October 14-18, 2026. Our venues are located in downtown Edmonton, mainly in the Citadel Theatre and the Stanley A. Milner Library.

Volunteer positions include Box Office, Ushering, Set-Up and Tear-Down, and Book Sales. Volunteers will receive LitFest swag, a pass to our festival events*, goodies from our festival partners, and the ability to watch the event you’re volunteering for. *Volunteer passes will not be redeemable for our in-person workshops or our Brunch event due to limited patron capacity. If spots are open closer to, we will extend the invitation to our Volunteers.
