Karen Unland is the co-founder of Taproot Publishing and editor-in-chief of Taproot Edmonton, which delivers reliable intelligence about the Edmonton region. Before starting Taproot with Mack Male 10 years ago, she worked in newspapers (mostly at the Edmonton Journal) and podcasting (as founder of the late Alberta Podcast Network).
