Kathryn Lennon 君妍

Kathryn Lennon 姚君妍 is a writer, editor, and community planner. Her poetry has been published in Canthius, Polyglot Magazine, Living Hyphen, the Globe and Mail, Ricepaper Magazine, and the Ethnic Aisle, among others. Her writing has been included in several anthologies including: Reimagining Fire: the Future of Energy (Durvile & UpRoute), Back Where I Came From (Book*hug Press), and Beyond Touch Sites: an Anthology of the Tangible (Laberinto Press). She is the co-founder and co-editor of Hungry Zine, a food-focused publication that centres voices missing in mainstream food media. She holds a MA from the University of British Colombia’s School of Community and Regional Planning, and a Bachelor of Environment from the University of Waterloo. She has Cantonese and Irish heritage and lives in Edmonton, amiskwacîwâskahikan, within Treaty 6 Territory. Duckweed浮萍 is her first full-length collection of poetry.
