Lisa Martin

Lisa Martin is the award-winning author of three full-length collections of poetry, most recently Nighthawks (University of Alberta Press, 2026). Her first novel is A Story Can Be Told About Pain (NeWest Press, 2025). Creative Writing in Post-Secondary Education: Practice, Pedagogy, and Research (Bloomsbury Academic, 2025), a blend of memoir and scholarly review, is out in paperback this fall. Lisa is Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at MacEwan University.
