Yasuko Thanh

Yasuko Thanh (she/her) is a writer and creative writing instructor at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC. She is the author of five books including the novels Mysterious Fragrance of the Yellow Mountains (Penguin Canada) and To the Bridge (Hamish Hamilton) and the best-selling memoir Mistakes to Run With (Penguin Canada).  She is the editor and co-author of Pizza Before We Die: An Eyewitness Account in Gaza by Hassan Kanafani (Arsenal Pulp Press). Her third novel, The Falling Maria, is forthcoming in 2027.
